Enjoying the smooth export to Modo, here is a model of a Koenigsegg CCR I've been working on! Not really finalised yet, you can see some things need doing but its mostly there.
All modelling in MoI, first three renders in Modo. I liked Jesse's idea of using the MoI interface as the floor, credit to him (her?), and I used Ahmed Alireza's incredible Metalic paint material preset.

Some extra details:

MoI screen grabs:

Its been a pleasure getting to grips with NURBS through MoI, thanks for your efforts Michael.

Hi mhein, thanks. Yes it's a solid model, got by using 'Join' and careful construction of the surfaces.
I could only be sure it was solid when boolean diff was working nicely!

Wow!
The renders are BUTT-ugly, but the model is REALLY nice...

I'm very impressed, I tried to make my Suzuki Swift in MoI, but I ran out of patience because it just wouldn't look right :(

Thanks for comments guys.
BUTT-ugly? hahaha yeah I wouldn't want to be seen in that car.
Maybe I'll find time to write some stuff about how I went about it if enough people show interest, but probly not for a while cos I'm a bit busy!

I just made a new dicussion group called "tutorials for...". And yep a tutorial or overview of how u made that Monstrous thing would be very nice!!
And if u ask me the rendering is awesome!!!!!!!

I'm practicing MOI cus i want to get the hang of NURBS modeling for architecural and car design. I'm done whit my own car design (pencil!!) wich has unique features if i do say so myself. Now i want to turn it in to a 3D model.
So i'm open for any sugestions.

And once again thats a great piece of art!!!!
