Hi freename, when does the crash happen, is it immediately on startup or after a little while?

Hi freename, your installation may be damaged, please e-mail me your V3 license key at moi@moi3d.com and I can set you up with a new download of the installer.

Hi freename, well the main way that what you describe can happen is from running a cracked version. I don't know of any way that it could happen with the trial version. So make sure you're getting the real trial version from http://moi3d.com/download.htm and not from somewhere else.

There is an educational discount version which you can order from Studica here: http://studica.com/moi3d

Hi freename, that's probably your anti-virus interfering with the installation. Are you possibly running ESET? That particular anti-virus checker mistakenly identifies moi_lib.dll as containing a virus because it categorizes anything wrapped with the WinLicense anti-hacking mechanism as a virus. There should be some way you can turn it off temporarily or tell it to make an exception for the MoI trial.

Also the alternate "no save" trial version is not wrapped with WinLicense and so probably won't have the same installation problem.
