Is there one for the upcoming V4?

>>> For dimensions, I want to work on that as well but you may find Max's plug-in for that to be useful right now, that is available here (requires v3 I think)
It doesn't look lile it works on V2. Get error after error :( Too bad. Would've been a nice stop gap.

Only just saw that I can upgrade to V3 from V2. Didn't know that. Thought one had to purchase a full license each time. Don't have much use for the extra features but for $100... cool...

Will a similar offer be available for V4? And would I be able to upgrade from V2? Or only from V3?

Hi Sebastian,

> Is there one for the upcoming V4?

No, not yet - that's something that I'll prepare when the final V4 is released, there will be a beta release period for v4 for a while as new features are developed before the final version is ready.

Yup, the same type of upgrade license will be available for v4 as well, and you can upgrade from any previous version, so yes you can upgrade from V2 to V4 without ever getting V3 if you want.

But there are a lot of bug fixes and other basic improvements in v3 as well as new features, if you're using MoI a lot I would definitely recommend using the latest version instead of an older release.

The full list of new things for v3 can be found in the v3 beta release notes here: http://moi3d.com/wiki/V3Beta - there's about 3 years of development work in it.

Yes! Haven't gone through it in detail but some things leapt out at me... particularly tapered extrusions and multi-edge blends.
