Welcome to the Club!

You can make Crtl + C , Ctrl + V between the 2 applications in the 2 ways! Moi <--> Rhino! ;)

Hi dreamer, welcome to the forum and to MoI!

One way to get a quick start with MoI is to read the introductory section of the help file here: http://moi3d.com/3.0/docs/moi_introduction.htm and to watch the tutorial videos here: http://moi3d.com/3.0/docs/tutorials.htm

There are also links to other tutorials here: http://moi3d.com/resources

But probably you'll be up to speed quite quickly since you already know NURBS modeling from Rhino.

I'm glad that you like the interface and I hope it will be useful for you! Like Pilou says above, you can use MoI and Rhino in combination with each other pretty well and transfer objects back and forth between them using copy and paste.

Thanks,
- Michael

Hi dreamer, sure any feedback would be great! But version 4 is still not in beta release quite as of yet, I'm still in the process of a major rewrite for V4 to get to a better cross platform code base and to transition to a 64-bit version.

Hi dreamer, I don't think you need to log in just to read Max's blog, the log in part is probably for editing it. You should be able to just go here and view it: http://moi.maxsm.net/ .

> I would love to do a little scripting and see how I do ?

This can be a little difficult to get started with because it's not really a major focus of MoI as of yet, so there isn't a lot of documentation or tutorials specifically around scripting. There is some information here though: http://moi3d.com/wiki/Scripting

> and how much is the upgrade from v3.o to 4.0?

The details have not been set yet, but it's pretty likely that it will be the same as previous version upgrades which has been $100.

Thanks,
- Michael
