New Tutorial for removing fillets in MoI

Hi everyone. Long time since I last created a tutorial but Frenchy's post really got me thinking and I had to try out the SeparateSelectOuterLoopsDeleteTrim.js command and see how it works. More on that command and how to download it here.

In the video I show where I use a keyboard command (shift-]) to select a loop of edges once two or more are selected. I can't remember where I found it, or who wrote it. Apologies, but here's the keyboard shortcut:
code:
script:/*Loop selection*/moi.geometryDatabase.SelectLoop();

This is a short video which demonstrates both a manual method for removing fillets (and holes) and then the more automated version using the command mentioned above.

I am on a Mac running 3.1. I installed your script but it doesn't show up under external scripts. It will show up in 3.0. Am I putting the script into the wrong place?

Thanks

Hi Mike, if you've got the script just pasted into a shortcut key, I think Max's scripts menu only shows shortcut keys that are marked with a ! character in a comment in the shortcut script, as a way of controlling which ones are shown.

See the instructions on this other shortcut menu for more explanation:
