Would it be possible to control UV scale (and thus repetition) in the flow command ? the same way we can control texture repetition in most 3d package.
I understand it's way more complicated to deal with geometry than texture, but it's easier to control this parameter inside the flow function than adjusting the pattern before the deformation.

I'm using (and still learning) automodeller for some projects (http://www.automodeller.com/) , and while I understand I can't expect this kind of tools in MoI, the basics are very close to the flow command,
along with tons of other options that are probably way too specific. But UV scaling is maybe something that could help a lot in SF paneling work :)

Hi PaQ - that could be a possibility for the future. You mean something like an option to map the pattern on the straight base plane to just one smaller area of the target surface so the pattern repeats a bunch?

But yes I would be a bit worried about having a super high complexity geometry resulting from mass repetition - CAD modeling just doesn't really deal as well as polygons for that type of stuff in general...
