One approach would be using Sharpkeys for that purpose.

Hi ndrakey, sorry no there is nothing set up for using a different key in place of the Alt key for view navigation methods like Alt+left mouse for orbiting the 3D view. You could try the system utility Tom mentions above, or also the Alt key navigation is actually a secondary navigation method for MoI that is set up just to be compatible with how several other animation type applications work. There are several other ways to do navigation aside from that, like just right drag in the 3D view to orbit with no keyboard key needed at all.

Is there a way to clone the functionality of alt key to another key in Shapekeys so you have 2 keys doing the same?

Hi ndrakey, I'm sorry but I don't really know anything about how SharpKeys works myself.

You can try also AUTOHOTKEY ;)

its very easy

So you can define hotkeys between ****leftalt and rightalt**** you can even enable in Autohotkey both windows-keys, and even CapsLock for shortcuts for moi or other apps
here one very simple example for quick deleting something in moi3d (without mouseclick).
