The easiest way is to use one of the ortho views, any of the Top, Front, or Right views (not the 3D view) for drawing any points you want to be planar - when you place points in one of those 2D views it will make all the points after the first one you pick to be on the same plane (oriented to that view) as the starting point.

If you want that to happen on an arbitrary plane then you can set the CPlane first using View > Cplane - once you set a cplane to a custom direction the Top, Front, and Right 2D views will be views relative to that new plane. When you are done with the custom cplane right-click View > Cplane to reset it.

You can also pre draw the facets you want to work with then use "pastePart" to build the profile of the bottle with facets. A circle array will then make the revolve of the facets.

May have to do some math to figure out the size of the bottle vs. facet size so an array will connect up. or just manually fill a particular gap with a different set of facets.

Here's a quick shot of what I meant. I kindof screwed up the alignment trying to be quick, but this should show what I meant. I don't have a lot of time right now to dig into it, but I think pastepart for building with facets can be your friend. Maybe some "rings" to help aligment etc (Rings like if you were going to loft the bottle)



Anyway, gotta drop off. Hope it helps any..
