hello, how do you fix a double sided surface? One possibility - fixing my select and delete, but...

but this is my question - how do you fix it faster? In cinema 4D - I use MESH -> COMMANDS -> OPTIMIZE -> it deletes unused points, but it also merge polygon-twins. And in Silo I select in VERTEX-SELECTION Mode all points and I use Merge.

Is there a script for fixing that faster? I tried also BooleanCombine/Join it didn't works.

I think I used im my case the mirror-command 2xtimes.

Hi Lordfox, surfaces in a CAD program are much more complex than they are in a polygon modeler, they involve several layers of things like an underlying surface and then the trim boundary which has both UV space and 3D space curves for it. That makes it much more complex to do an equivalent of what you are describing in Cinema4D. It's much more simple in a polygon mesh structure.

So there isn't any easy way to script it or solve your problem other than going around and click selecting on each surface and deleting the extra one, sorry.
