After rename this inside the Step4 (ScriptsGallery.htm) all works fine for me!

Now some works for me for rename all the commands witout the "_" and translate icons' name! :) (if possible)

PS if you copied a folder "commands" in the same folder Moi/ where one is yet existing there will be conflict ?

There's one thing that i don't understand yet.

Why do you want to rename some command file names reference in the ScriptsGallery.htm ?

If you copy all the files that are contained into the "commands" and "scripts" folder zipped into the file Step5_Commands_And_Scripts.zip,
you don't have the need to rename anything.

If you copy the "commands" and "scripts" folder in "<moi install folder>",
is it possible that you will get the overwriting file dialog.
In this case, no problem. Answer "yes" and accept the new files.

About the command I have yet existing commands in my folder commands so I was affraid that your folder smaller than mine will erase mine!

anyway, if someone don't want to use the commands and scripts contained in the file Step5_Commands_And_Scripts.zip,
but want to maintain his current commands or scripts file names, no problem.

In this case, is sufficient to rename the command name referenced in the file ScriptsGallery.htm,
contained into the archive Step4_ScriptsGallery.zip.

I hope that Pilou or someone else will improve this UI add on.

I think that this be useless, but.....

as a general info, if you overwrite a folder that contains, let's say, 10 files,
with a folder that have the same name, but contains, let's say, only 5 files,
this operation wan't delete any files from your original folder.

If the folder you are copying contains new files, those files will be copied to the original folder,
while every files with the same name will be overwitten.

So, no problem if the "commands" and "scripts" folder that are contained in the Step5_Commands_And_Scripts.zip file,
have less files then your actual folders.

Great job! Nice icons. I took different approach ( See attached image). I used MOI option Dialog and created the Plugin gallery. The dialog can stay open or you can drag it to second monitor and free-up the moi viewport. This is part of my overall UI modification. I will be happy to share it just need to write instruction for installation.

I'm happy to see that in this forum good ideas never die :)

I like your approach and i think it will be very useful, although,
for a more practical use, it needs doubtless a second monitor.

In my opinion, the very best tool to obtain a real cool plugin library,
would be to have this two things linked together :

a panel gallery based on big and nice, and self explanatory icons,
like ones did by you or me (i prefer colorful icons than grey ones),

and, above all, a text command search with auto completion.

So, while someone writes some letter of a command name, the panel filters the icons accordingly.

You might even think to filter the search based on some hidden description apppliyed to each or some of the commands.

So, if i have, let's say, 400 or more commands and scripts, and i need a tool
that help me to create some kind of stuff, the search should show me all the commands and script that are
candidate to do that stuff.

Maybe someone wants to dig into this challenge ?

It was a some sort of break time from my daily job,
'cause i'm an hobbyist and an enthusiast in cad and 3d modelling and in computer graphic in general.

Using Moi is almost always a fun, and i think, that most of the philosophy that lies behind Moi,
should, in general, be shared by others cad/3d software, like, just to name one, Rhino.
Not for nothing that product was also written by you, if i remember correctly... :)

What do you think about my post to Sharif about the convenience to write some sort of plugin gallery that
will supply a sort of filter search based on some hidden descriptions applied to each or some of the commands,
and should filter the shown icons accordingly ?

Are you thinking some similar sort of thing for version V4 ?

It's difficult to keep same style for numerous pieces!

I can't say for sure which specific version will have it (like whether it will be for V4 or not until some time later than that), but I definitely want to work on a plug-in browsing system similar to what you are describing.

Something like a "Browse plugins" button and if you clicked it a dialog would come up with different categories and yes I guess probably a search function eventually too, where you could go and then click a button to install it and probably assign a shortcut key to it there too.

Something like that anyway...

There will be a significant amount of work involved in creating that entire system though, so it's difficult to know exactly when it will be implemented. Right now plugins in general is not my main priority, I'm still working on much more basic things still.
