It's difficult to keep same style for numerous pieces!

I can't say for sure which specific version will have it (like whether it will be for V4 or not until some time later than that), but I definitely want to work on a plug-in browsing system similar to what you are describing.

Something like a "Browse plugins" button and if you clicked it a dialog would come up with different categories and yes I guess probably a search function eventually too, where you could go and then click a button to install it and probably assign a shortcut key to it there too.

Something like that anyway...

There will be a significant amount of work involved in creating that entire system though, so it's difficult to know exactly when it will be implemented. Right now plugins in general is not my main priority, I'm still working on much more basic things still.

I seem to have a French version of Chain Maker....

All the others that I have tried have been in English.

Is it just me?

PS By the way, I'm not entirely sure that Chain Maker should be in 'Mechanical'. I ran it expecting to get an Engineering type chain.

Maybe you must turn Options / Language in French ?
And you must make all this "French" installation!

Hi Mike, I think you can find the original chain maker script which was in english here:

If you overwrite your french version with that original English one that should then set you up with the english command.

I was wondering if you use the kitbash script as well, because it seems not display in the menu kitbash since i copy paste the codeline if Icon in the CommandBar.htm (step 3).

Does someone find a solution?

Hi vangcki, this menu is a bundled package of scripts, and it did not happen to include the kitbash script.

If you wanted the kitbash script to show up on this UI, you would need to modify the ScriptsGallery.htm file that is part of the installation package and add in an additional <moi:CommandButton> element under the section where you wanted the kitbash icon to appear in.

This script gallery looks very nice!

However I couldn't install it properly :(

I followed the instructions but I end up with this:

- Script Gallery button is not aligned to the rest of buttons from Max's custom UI.

- Option and help Buttons overlap the other buttons.

- When I click on Scripts Gallery button, I can see the icons and tabs but they are far apart from each other and I have to scroll to find them.


What am I doing wrong here?

I'm using V4 beta


Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Stargazer, that looks like what would happen if you installed the old version of CustomUI that is for MoI version 3, instead of the newer one that is for V4.
