Flow Deform problem!!

hi guys,
i try to did this training by Chipp Walters https://youtu.be/vtknjYIQIJI?t=6m10s
but when i try something he did with Flow Deform i get weird result so please anyone can tell me what i did wrong and please see the attach image the result i get. thank you and sorry for bother.

Hi,
For best results, flow needs untrimmed surfaces, where surface is uv-area. (but you work with trimmed sphere)
Create reference surface and use flow on this surface.
For reference surface, copy edges (STRG+C for copy and STRG+V for paste) and use sweep with two profile and two rails, hide original....
