So, is the basic problem in the 'flow' construction?

Are suggesting that perhaps I could make a copy, scale it appropriately, insert it into the original solid and then boolean it out?

Hi Eric

I think one of your problems was the amount of points on the hex curve , if you rebuild the points it lofts better to the circle which usually has 12

It will then shell inside
