Hi Andy, sorry I don't know what might be causing that - Moi does preselection highlights when it gets "mouse move" messages. Somehow your Wacom tablet must not be sending those messages to MoI in certain circumstances.

Maybe it's some temporary problem in the Wacom driver. I'd recommend rebooting your system and then see if it behaves better after that.

I did reboot and it was working, and then shortly after it stopped working again. I am wondering if it's a hardware problem. Though the wacom seems to be working fine in every other way and in every other application.

Hi Andy, the only thing I can think of to suggest is to look on the Wacom website to see if there is a newer driver available and if there is you could try installing that to see if it makes any difference.

I have not heard of this problem from anyone else, so I don't have any other ideas or solutions for you, sorry.

Hi Andy,

I use Wacom 24" hd touch and I have had this problem once. It was a usb cable issue.

Hope this helps if you haven't already sorted it...

Thanks.

I did just sort it out. I had switched my cable to a different USB slot that day and didn't think anything of it. I finally made the connection, and I switched it back today and not everything is working normally again. Crazy.

Hi Andy, thanks for following up on that. That's certainly weird that just switching to a different USB slot changes the behavior but I'm glad you got that figured out!

I guess somehow with certain USB connections the tablet is not sending mouse move messages like it normally would.

I have a Wacom tablet here too, mine don't like USB3 ports either, did you have yours plugged into a USB3 or 2 slot ?
