No download because seems that this is another browser solution like Onshape.

Would anyone please enlighten me?

How do cloud base online apps work actually?
I mean: how do they (the developer) make their earning?

They will have to spend time and energy to maintain the app, right?

Btw, it looks like a great program. Honestly, it's very similar to how i imagine the next MoI v4 will be
(in terms of simple UI and polygon modeling support... but hey, no push here... ;) ).

That's an easy one ;)

In the beginning it's about different services and service levels. Single user with tiny online storage vs. Collaborative with unlimited storage and integrated PDM. Can you guess which one will be the paid one ? ;) But that's just an intermediate thing.

Ultimately, the business model is to get bought by a big player. When 3DS, Siemens, Autodesk or Google decide they need the technology. That's when money is made. VC firms bridge the cash needs and spin their rolodexes.

No, all you need is a web browser with an internet connection and you are ready to roll. All your projects are saved online in a cloud so you can reach them from anywhere. Just go to www.vectary.com and sign in with your active account.

J'ai bien que non! Que sur le Web!
I affraid that is only on the Web!

but all applications become to works like this! :)
My.sketchup, Onshape (you can't say for this last one "a stupid cloud" ! :)

This program surely is far more "ultimate" than the other "ultimate" 3d tools I worked with for the past 20 years. ;-)
