I'm thinking seriously to buy a license of MoI, I just need to know what is the policy regarding upgrades. So, if I buy a license for v3 of MoI now, in few months I will need to pay another fee for the upgrade to v4 when this version will be out? Also are some discounts by Black Friday or something similar?

There is something like this when you are near the release of a new version!:)
But the date of the new version is not for this year! ;)

The regular policy is that you have to purchase an upgrade to a new version, which is available at a reduced price.

For the last release I did have a grace period of a couple of months where if you purchased it within a couple of months of the new release then you were able to get a free upgrade to the new version.

The next version won't be ready for quite a while longer than 2 months from now and so if you purchased now you should expect that you would need to pay for the v4 upgrade when v4 is available.

Yes that's correct, if you buy a license for v3 right now, when MoI v4 is available hopefully sometime next year, you would need to pay another fee to upgrade to it.
