Suggestion for next update (Boolean Library)

Hey guys. I am a Concept Designer for Games and Film and most of the time I do scifi hard surface work like weapons, robots and environments.
This kind of work often requires a lot of surface details and repetition in certain areas. Until now, whenever I want to make a boolean of a certain shape I either need
to create it from scratch every single time or go through the finder on my mac endless counts of times to find my boolean folder. This just takes more time than I wish.

I would love to see a feature in the next update where you can pre create 3dm parts and separately add them to a Boolean Library inside Moi natively. I made a Mockup in
Photoshop to illustrate roughly what I have in mind. Please let me know any thoughts, I would appreciate that. I really hope this will happen one day!!

Cheers, Edon.

Hi Edon, yes it's actually possible to install an extension right now that will give you an object library pretty much just like you're describing.

See Mik's link above for a recent video tutorial from Chipp that covers this exact topic.

And the extension is the Object library from Max Smirnov which is here:
http://moi3d.com/forum/index.php?webtag=MOI&msg=6507.1

That should give you a library function pretty much just like you’re describing.

Thanks, - Michael
