Yes with such very sharply pointed thin needle like ends it's not likely that you will be able to fillet stuff like that, it makes it very difficult for the filleter to put in corner junctures on such super sharp pointed things and also you've got very narrow areas so there would be only a very tiny amount of space for a fillet to fit.

You may need to trim away some empty space and use blends, or it might be better to build curved surfaces from the start like in the example I posted before.

I've used sweep...



for rounded result you can try to use two curves start/end and rails connected between ends of these curves. I used only one curve and point ended rails.



The cyan curve is tilted in right viewport - half angle between perpendicular and transversal part of vase.



...then I jointed surfaces. Resulted surface was copied and scaled (0.99). I've created the solid via jointing lofted surface between outer and inner rim of surfaces and outer and inner basic surface of vase.
