Michael,

you may forget about it. I can't reproduce it myself here, I tried copying the complete folder structure, but it works fine with the copy, so it must be something to this particular folder inside folder combination. I tried all my other 3dm files and everything else works, including subfolders with 2 spaces inside the three dotted folder.

sorry for bothering you with all this.

No problem Wim - if you happen to run into it again please capture the full path that the file is in so I can try to test it.

Thanks, - Michael

Hi Michael,

I think I nailed the folder naming problem.

1. make a folder named Test (or any other name)
2. make a folder named Test 1 (or same name as above, but with a SPACE and something else behind it, anything)
3. put a 3dm file in the second folder
4. doubleclick this file
5. file not found.
6. remove the space after the first word from the foldername, and it works.

the logic I think is that MoI searches for the path, but first encounters the first path with that name uptil the first space it encounters, and does not find the file there.
I can reproduce it on os 10.8.5 (macbook pro) and 10.10.5 (mac pro)

Hi wim, thanks for figuring out exactly what causes this. It looks like it's a bug in Wineskin, wineskin is not putting quote " " characters around the command line parameters that have spaces in them which will make MoI think that they are separate parameters rather than one long one.

I don't think I'll be able to do anything about it for v3, but for v4 I should be able to fix it since Wineskin won't be used anymore.

- Michael
