Hi,
I'm having a difficult time working more than 15 minutes.

Mouse locks then screen goes scrambled.

I save to a temp file (saves my work OK), close MOI3d, reopen temp file and continue on.

I suppose that Michael will say to you that is a problem of Graphic cards! (old Drivers or several cards)
(generally 2 graphic cards in the same computer (example Intel + Nvidia) and many cores can disrupt Moi interface!
Michael will say to make some try of select card, new drivers update and some change parameters in the Moi.ini file...

So wait his answer because I am not very advised of all that (and be from time to time in the same case of you ! )
Disadvantage of have new computer! :)

Hi Marv, yes like Pilou writes above it's likely to be a video driver problem.

Do you possibly have an Intel video driver for that machine? If so, then try the following:

Go to Options > General and push the "Edit .ini file" button there.

Inside moi.ini find the line that says:

DisplayThreadLimit=

and edit it to say =1 at the end, like this:

DisplayThreadLimit=1

Then save that and close notepad and start up MoI again, does it behave better for you now?

Since MoI v3 MoI by default will use multiple cores in the display engine to speed things up, but the Intel video driver does not seem to get along with that and it seems to have gotten more cranky about it in recent versions as well...

Hope that will help stabilize things for you.

- Michael
