"Puzzle Creating"

Hi,

many greetings to all MOI Forum members.

I want to create a "Voronoi-Puzzle".

No problem with the great Voronoi-script.
But after boolean "merge" I have to move the single objects a little bit to the outside to become a small gap between the objects.
At the moment I do this by hand.

I wonder if there is a possibility to automatically move the objects to the outside to become a 2mm gap.

Frank

Press TAB then write ExplodeMove on the early process! (All plugins by Max Smirnov! Except ExplodeMove by Michael! ;)
(don't make the "Delconers" ! ;)
_Voronoi > Clear Points > Select All> Plane > Trim> Select Edges> Move them somewhere > Join > _Delcorners>ExplodeMove.

You can also use the "_Fatlines" script as triming knife! ;)

Just 4 corners to trim , not a big deal :)

Hi Frank,

The closest thing to this would be ExplodeMove like Pilou mentions:
http://moi3d.com/3.0/docs/moi_command_reference10.htm#explodemove

But the objects will move outwards from their overall bounding box center, it won't necessarily move them with a uniform gap between each piece. So to get a uniform gap you might need to use the manual movement that you've already been using.

Hi all,

thank you very much !
The ExplodeMove is exactly what i have searched.
A uniform gap would be nice, but not necessarily needed.
