I have a problem that if I am moving an object and my pointer goes over the Area,Pan,Zoom,Reset panel I can no longer place it where I want it. I have to stop adjust the whole window and then start again. Could there be a way for the function you are using to override the panel until you take your finger off the button?

Hi Tim, that one might be a little tough, the way it currently works allows you to use those view manipulations at any time you might need them. Like for instance if in the middle of your drag you want to zoom out to be able to drag somewhere else, you can do that right now, but it wouldn't be possible with the way you mention...

Normally the way to solve your problem is to zoom out or move around a bit so that the area you are interested in is not right near the edge of the viewport. The other thing that can help is if you're doing a lot of work in one particular view, don't stay in the split view too long, switch over to the full screen for that view where you will have a lot more room...
