Hi Lewis, sorry currently there isn't any way set up for the scene browser sections open/closed state to be saved and restored, you will need to open them up at the start of a new session.

I do plan on making their state be saved into a 3DM file and restored on opening the 3DM file in the future.

Another GUI question.

Can i somehow resize Quad view (SPLIT mode) so that it's not all 4 windows same size ? I want 3D (upper right) to be larger than other three ortographic windows.

Thanks

Sorry, no - there's no way to resize individual views in the split mode.

It's me Agian with more GUI questions :)

I find LEFT side Objects panel truncating the file/layer names too soon and I can't seem to resize it larger. It's fixed width ?
Michael can you make it resizeable by user or popup so it can be separate window (Qt allows that from what i remember ?).

Thanks

Hi Lewis, yes that browser pane is a fixed width currently. I do want to make some easy way to size it in the future.

But currently it is possible to modify it by editing the width in the UI definition.

To do that you need to open up the file named BrowserPane.htm in a text editor. The file is in the UI sub-folder, which on Windows you'll find here: C:\Program Files (x86)\MoI 3.0\ui and on Mac right-click the app icon and pick "Show package contents" and in there go to drive_c/moi/ui

Once you open the BrowserPane.htm file, the width is controlled by the 6th line from the top, the one that says width:15em; , I have marked it with >>> <<< here:

code:
<html>
    <head>
        <style>
            body {
                padding:0.3em 0.2em 0.5em 0.3em;
>>>>>>          width:15em;            <<<<<<<<<<

The 15em means a width of 15 characters. Change that to something like 25em or however many characters you want and that will widen the pane.

Hope that helps!

Yes that helps. It's bit pain to do it "per model" but at least it's possible :).

Thanks for quick response.
