Hi Scotty, the way it works is you save from MoI as a .3dm, and then use the 3dm2sculpt utility program written by Cindy Crabgrass which can translate a surface inside the .3dm file into a Second Life Sculpt Map.

You can find the 3dm2sculpt translator program here: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/3dm2sculpt - I think you can ask questions there on the "discussion" tab as well.

Sculpt maps work in Second Life as a kind of rectangular sheet. You can't just convert any type of model into a sculpt map, the converter is expecting to have just a single surface in the .3dm file, nothing that has been trimmed or booleaned for example.

Hi waycomp2002, it seems to be back up now:

http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/3dm2sculpt

There is a notice on there that they're doing some web site maintenance, so it looks like it was probably just down temporarily.

Hi waycomp2002, I see it's not the link to the page itself that is dead, but the download links that are on there don't work anymore.

Maybe someone that has a copy of that converter will be able to post it here until the links are sorted out.
