Garlic is a script to model a garlic bulb made up of cloves of garlic.

Garlic is considered to be a monocotyledon.

Rebuild and loft may be used.

Garlic cloves may be easily skinned by vigorously shaking them in two stainless steel bowls for 20 seconds.

On the radio, it was recommended to use light canola oil instead.

Testing of the script has been minimal. Negative aShape is indented. rShape is of little use (?).

Here is Garlic2 script, which enables longitude curves to also be created.
Network may be used if there are both latitude and longitude curves.

In order to plot only longitude curves, set uDensity = 0 and set vDensity > 1.
For 6 longitude curves, set vDensity to 7.

For just latitude curves, set vDensity to 0, and uDensity > 2.

Ha, virtual garlic, that's great Brian! I must admit I am lazy and just use chopped garlic from a jar.

Looks like the script would make a nice hot air balloon canopy, too. What does the other end look like?

Thanks Michael.

Hi John,

The bottom is tapered. The lofted horizontal curves bottom has a flat spot.
It is not really teardrop shaped.

The "natural" balloon is "flat" at the peak point, when inflated with open (bottom).

The tension minimizing math is advanced. I have not found a simple formula yet, nor an explanation of
how to plot the teardrop from the differential equations.

I previously did a "mylar" balloon script.

-Brian

(I would also consider the garlic script to be a 2D curve generator, for other purposes.)
