Can anybody help me please. I have a stl format file. I need to import it to Monolith (vol format). How can I do that? I found Rhino and Grosshopper useful in converting stl to vol format, but the problem is Grosshopper as I do not know how I can import stl to Grasshopper. Can you please guide me and let me know how can I convert stl to vol step by step. Thank you very much guys.

Hi Del, sorry I'm not familiar with Monolith - this here is the MoI forum which is a totally different software program from Monolith.

Does Monolith have its own discussion forum? If so then you might want to post your question there.

If the only way to convert from .stl to .vol is by using Grasshopper, then you'll need to use Rhino to do that - Grasshopper is a Rhino plug-in and both Rhino and Grasshopper are also different software programs than MoI which is the one that this forum is about.

You can use this to set a path to an stl inside of grasshopper:

But I cant give you a step by step because I have the 64 bit rhino.....
