Just in case anybody is interested Filter Forge is offering a massive %80 discount for another 24 hours or so of their textures and filters tool that can work with PhotoShop or as a standalone generator for people who want or need to design their own bitmaps to use as textures or as base materials for rendering.

Well... the Filter Forge website claims it to be "Photoshop Plugin to Create Your Own Filters"... Well what it actually does is to shell the image out of Photoshop, into the Filter Forge application... but it does not return to update Photoshop nor does it seem to even save into the PSD format.

The one positive that I can report about Filter Forge is that they did process a refund without delay.
