Hi simba - the font used by MoI is set under moi.ini, go to Options > General > "Edit .ini file" button. Then inside there the font is set under

[UI]
<....>
UIFontName=Arial

You can set that to a different font to see if a different font works better.

However, it's pretty likely that it's not the font itself that is making things blurry but rather a bug in Wine's font rendering. You will probably have to try a different version of Wine to make the blurriness go away, try the latest development version and see if that helps.

Thank you for the hint!

I case someone else runs into the same problem:

The fix can be found here: http://askubuntu.com/questions/219791/improve-gui-appearance-of-wine-applications

For the relevant commands, have a look at the attached picture.

Greetings All,

The best and quickest solution to the UI font problem is to set the UIfontName=Droid in the moi.ini file.

Just let the system use a native font that renders well by default, rather than trying to force Arial to display correctly.

You will be much more pleased using Droid on your linux machine!
