Viewport Hangs...

I've been noticing quite a few MoI viewport hangs (say, right now I've got MoI running and gone into Chrome, upon maximising MoI Chrome still appears within the viewport, menu items are still responding) recently and I'm having to restart constantly...Michael what would help you troubleshoot this issue? Guessing it's a graphics card problem? Running Windows 8, NVidia GTX 765M.

Actually looks like it may be Chrome causing the issue with MoI...Bizarre

Trial and error, had some OBJs in there from the OBJ importer, seems to have something to do with them (though they are very low poly)

Hi Rich, typically stuff like that is an indication of video driver problems. If you continue to see this problem you may want to try updating your video driver to the latest version and see if that helps any. Also another thing you can try is to set an option to disable multi-threading in the display engine, sometimes that causes problems with some drivers. Hey Michael,

I'm getting hangs every time I run MoI now...It must be a graphics issue but I've updated my drivers and no luck...

Actually - looks like MoI was going through integrated graphics - changed to secondary NVidia and seems to be working! Sorry for the stream of consciousness!

Hi Rich, that definitely sounds like video driver related problems - maybe when you updated your drivers you only updated the one for one of the 2 video cards in your machine?

It sounds like you've got it worked out now though.
