Floating "Command Options" window only? (request)

Hi Michael,

Not sure if already someone made "script" to make those panels floating and if it's possible so this would be
more like feature request if, again, it is even possible.

I have already searched on forum here and found some discussions around dual monitor solutions and to make whole side pane
floating..etc. But, what i would found extremely useful little thing is to make only Command Options as floating window.
Something in this direction perhaps > http://i.imgur.com/8z6BTdk.jpg

With behavior like this maybe to expand and shrink when you are using certain feature or not > http://i.imgur.com/PITEZKF.gif
You could also move it anywhere on the screen where you feel most comfortable to use it frequently.

Why only Command Option?

The problem i have is that i have a bit bigger screen (i guess most people have them nowadays) so when working with full screen MoI the
Command Options are in far top left or right which is quite uncomfortable to use for longer period of time especially since Command Options
are something what is most used when working.
This all makes you to do quite a lot of mouse traveling and even the slight whole head turning with quite "aggressive" eyes movement back and forward
between the model in viewport and command options in far top left when adjusting options multiple times.

It would be quite nice improvement in workflow in my opinion.

Best regards,
keyi

Hi keyi, yes it's possible to make a floating command options dialog, there's a description on how to do it just a little bit later on in the same recent thread that talks about doing it for the side pane, here:
http://moi3d.com/forum/index.php?webtag=MOI&msg=7394.10

The down side of the way you display it in your image is that you now have your working modeling area obscured by a window sitting on top of it - it's a big focus of MoI's design to avoid doing that and leave your modeling area to have your model openly visible in it. That's why things are not set up for floating toolbars in MoI in general.
