yeah I use Moi3d (Im still with v1.1, have to upgrade soon) for a lot of things that wind up getting printed.
It's just so much easier to make certain things...

I just love the immediacy of using MOI as an accessible CAD source and 3D printing instead of a the usual fabrication plant. And as a bonus - for a real life problem.
