If it's virus checker related you might try using the "no save" trial version instead - the regular 30-day trial version is protected by a system called WinLicense and at least one virus checking system (ESET I think) will tend to flag anything protected with that as a virus, maybe that's what you are running into. The "no save" trial version and also the regular full version do not have that on them so if that's the problem they would probably not trigger it.

'No save' is the only option as after a temporary ESET deactivation during the installation process V3 Trial is still a "virus contaminated" for the ESET.
Too bad, since I'd like to check the best option for importing Moi3D geometry to Archicad where I have the OctaneRender plugin.
Skp and 3ds might be good enough but I'm not able to compare that with the V2 export quality.

Or is it the same?
If so, it might be no reason for me to upgrade.

Hi marek, the export quality would likely be the same unless you were running into bugs. There was not much new specifically for mesh export from v2 to v3 other than various bug fixes.
