Well, I learned something new about Moi today!

Select curve, turn on control points, select curve and control points, deselect curve.
On Edit menu, hit Copy then Paste. control points are now "point objects."

Hi simba,

I'm guessing you would like to export x,y,z coordinates along the length of the curve - perhaps at either a user-selected x interval or a given number of stations?

If I understand correctly exactly what's on offer within the arsenal of MoI JavaScript - and the explanation Michael gave me recently, there are no direct methods available by which to return y ordinates on a curve in MoI at a given interval of x.

But I did find a round-about way to do this by script. Let me know and I should be able to fairly quickly modify the secondary script I made for my airfoil generating project do what I think you want it to. Or I can post it here for you to mod yourself.

Cheers,
Hamish

Just a thought, the frenetKTcurve script is finding z values for uniform x values. (But not exporting them)
