Today I wanted to try to create my original popular concept car Exona designed and modeled with sub-d in blender3d software. There were some tryouts in the past with moi3d, like Exona 2 CAD project, but it doesn't look like original Exona concept.I wasn't good back then with modeling complex surfaces, didn't practice to much, and I didn't knew modeling tricks I know now.Next I'm planning to cut front headlights and hood part.It is a big modelling challenge for me and I'm pretty confident that now I can model it in moi3d,even there are no advanced tools like surface match. At least I will try it to build it in moi3d,and if my client wants surface matching,he can easily do it in rhinoceros3d or in similar software. There is in viacad pro surface match tool, but I can't get used to that software,as I'm pretty fast with moi3d.In advance Thank you for your feedbacks and for your advices too.
Original Exona concept 3d model which I'm trying to create is on link below
Your Exona model is very interesting, it reminds me of an aggressive snake head, very cool stuff. You have an ability to take your design direction throughout the entire body of the vehicle, great work.
