I'm not sure if i undestand it correctly.

I'm place the data (working in mm) in the upper right area from the origin point on the grid (from 0 to x=210 and Y=297 or any other formats)
The result isn't an DIN A4. The result is 215,9x279,4 mm. I want use the entire space of an Din A4 document. Is this possible?

We need to use the option "preserve units" to measure cut and design graphics on to the PDF-document as base.

Hi Jörg, your problem probably has to do with the paper size set in the PDF file that Moi generates. Currently MoI will only generate a paper size of a US letter size (8.5 by 11 inches).

If you want to print an A4 size instead, you will need to edit the paper size in the PDF file, you can do that by opening it in a 2D vector editing program like Adobe Illustrator for example. Open it up there, change the sheet size and then the content that is currently running off the edge of the 8.5x11 inch paper size should then be visible.

At the bottom of the above thread is a link to a command line utility that can be used to modify the page size instead of doing it in Illustrator.

In the future I want to make it possible to set the page size as an option when you generate the PDF file. Since the PDF generation is a pretty new feature it is more oriented currently towards just generating the vectors as the main priority for now.
