OK, so it's online.
But I'm not having any luck having my STEP file show up. And my screen doesn't look like Burr's. Maybe a browser issue - I'll have to experiment more...
Burrman is not usng Onshape. Read the docs on outputting STEP files. You have to right-click in the step file tab at the bottom after you translate the converted Onshape model to STEP. Also BE SURE and set the correct dims in both MoI and Onshape. I used mm for both.
@ Burr
Yes this direct modeling tool DesignSpark is a killer!
Little problem seems you can't export as nurbs format with this free version! ?
So Thanks Max Smirnov for its _Import_OBJ !
Subdiv don't work with a native cylinder of Moi! ?
What we must do for that works ?

The best would be if you learn and understand traditional subd modeling, prior wondering why something not works like you expect....
The model you show in the picture is also very bad and does not resemble a properly modeled subd mesh.
A cylinder in Polymodeling are triangles (2 triangles = 1 quad : sometimes Ngons) primitive like shown above
The sub divided object is just the result of the previous cylinder by the Max plugins
I had personally nothing modelised here :)
I must jut refound what are the start proprieties of a volume accepted by the Max Subdive plugin :)
Quad facetts, triangles facetts...
I had believed that the Max plugin accepted and transform the nurbs volumes ! :)
No problem, Burrman! I should never post to the forum in the middle of the night, when I should be sleeping. :-)
I understand all the posts much better today!

I've been fooling around with OnShape. Uploaded a STEP file created in MoI and added some fillets, but how do you download a file in STP format, to reopen it in MoI? I'm using the browser version, not a mobile app.
