Hi Everyone/Michael

Here we go...another curiosity.
I put in the CommandBar, down on the right side, next to the Snapshot icon, the ShortCut icon..... but the list is not there! Jesus....that problem! (No, don't you worry, I'm just joking with ya!).

So. How do I get it.
What do I do?

And again; how can I enrich the list in Obj Library?

Yes it is, i'm really nosey......best way to learn.

Glad to keep in touch whit you guys!!

Ciao..

< the ShortCut icon..... but the list is not there!

It's the addon "ExtScripts" - "ExtScriptsFull" who managed the list!

The shortcut icon, of a keyboard, does not seem do anything on my computer either.

To add to the Objects, get or create a .3dm of the object, and place the .3dm, and a small .png picture file of the object,
in the objects folder. The existing png pictures are about 14 kb.

Hi Ninno, re: shortcuts list

I think that's intentional that it does not list every single shortcut, if I remember right you need to mark which particular shortcuts you want to appear in the list by putting in a ! character inside of a comment in the shortcut.

See the instructions on this other shortcut menu for more explanation:

Hi Brian

Thanks for your advice.

You must know that I am not so sure how to turn a .3dm file to a .png file.
I have to import it into some other software? .... And then save it as a .png extension?
Listen .... but how do you do?

Sorry.
I'm new to this software and then everything is unknown to me, even the elementary things like this.

It might be interesting to have three-dimensional shapes ready for use.
I mean those constantly used at least.

Thanks i'll really appreciate same help.

By the way, about that little problem at Shortcut list on toolbar addon, Michael advised me to take a look at the thread 5993 by Dino. A quick (and dirty) Script Palette Script
There seems to be a solution.

Ciao

Thank you Ninno.

I keep learning more from the forum.

To make the png picture, option/grid can turn off the grid and axis. There is a script somewhere to assist with turning them off, and back on.
For a smaller png, the object can be "small" on the screen, or the png can be edited later with some photo tool program.

The windows7 snipping tool will make a png, or...

Snapshot will make a png, which can be made smaller.

The Microsoft Picture Manager which comes with Office2010 is convenient to edit the png. There are lots of such programs.

ps: And then put the .png and the .3dm in the objects folder, as previously mentioned.

pps: The final png keeps being cropped on the left, so it should have space on the left, and be more or less square???
