MoI Documentation

Hey Michael and all,

I was searching through the forum for tips and tricks on using MoI and it occurred to me - most of the documentation is done! You just need to pull it directly off the forum, complete with illustrations.

Seriously Michael, your descriptions of how the software behaves, how NURBS function, and what to do to achieve certain results are amazingly clear. I've been searching for NURBS modeling books, tutorials, etc. for a long time, and this is the best I've ever found. Add to that the input and assistance from MoI users (who seem a passionate and devoted lot) and you've definitely got a winner.

Anxiously awaiting version 1 to go live.

Thanks Kurt, I'm glad the forum posts have been useful!

Yes, I don't expect the documentation to be really too difficult because all the stuff in the forum has been good practice for it.

I know this might be asking a lot...

But is there anyway that a "documentation thread" can be started kind of like Frenchy's "Specal Thread Gallery"?

This might make us TOTAL newbies to 3d and MOI a lot more impetus to purchase the program quicker if we could already be up and running with it in.

A lot of work, I know, so no biggie if this is too much to ask...

Thanks, though, for reading this.

Certainly, you can start one if you want!

What kind of stuff would you like to collect there?

I haven't quite started on the actual real documentation quite yet though, I've got to finish up this last beta release first.

Hi to all:
I share all their opinions but I suggest that all those of the forum cooperate with one or two examples practical step for step and be published in the forum so that it is compiled and this way to generate a manual of the program.

With the permission and supervision of Michael o.k.

MOI will be big with our cooperation:

Best regards

Juan Galvan

Hi Juan, you certainly have my permission to post any documentation or any examples that you wish!

I am planning on working on a set of full documentation myself too, I will be switching to work on that full time once the software for version 1.0 is complete. That won't be too much longer.
