I`m using V3. Could anybody explain me how to do shading in preview window in MoI to get preview with glossy look or with shadowing. Is it possible to export it as vector file (eps,ai,cdr, pdf)?

I saw on some screenshots nice glossy preview how to turn it on?

I would like to export vector shapes with shadows and lighting from MoI.

Edit: like here- http://moi3d.com/forum/index.php?webtag=MOI&msg=7132.1

hi there!

Mike did a tutorial on shading/lighting some time ago:

http://moi3d.com/forum/index.php?webtag=MOI&msg=5222.1

and in there you can find the LightingOptions-Plugin by Dino to save your lighting settings

Hi Bartosh, yes the link from Marco above shows where to go to adjust lighting settings and gives several different setting combinations for different effects.

Once you have set it up, you can export that shaded image to either PDF or AI formats. The generated file will be a hybrid of part vector, part bitmap. Edges and silhouettes will be vector curves in the 2D file and the shaded surfaces will be a background bitmap behind them.
