Well I can assure you guys that I am not part of some mysterious cabal that is nefariously and illegally collecting taxes...

The EU tax law requires that the VAT tax is collected based on the location of the purchaser. The order system that I use (which is handled for my be a separate company called BlueSnap), collects whatever taxes are mandated by law.

It's not illegal - it's the exact opposite of illegal.

I can understand that people are not happy to pay taxes, but it is not my fault that your country requires them, and it is silly to accuse me of illegal activities when collecting taxes that are required by your government.

I will close this thread for any further replies since it's a bit ridiculous.
