It's a little tricky! ;)

Save your file in 123D so for example ball.123dx
rename it in ball.zip
Unzip and find a file Breps.BlobParts/BREPO.smt
rename BREPO.smt in BREPO.sat
et voila :)

I don't know what to say!

Works like a charm for me!
(it's a pity that the file unzipped ".Sat" from 123D Design can't be used directly in Moi3D! A step operation will be win! )

Hi Pilou,

> @Michael : why the first ".Sat" from 123D is not accepted by Moi3D ?

It does not seem to be a standard .Sat file, it appears to be some customized version that is specific to Autodesk.

I tried to read it into ViaCAD and it was unable to open your .sat file either, it gives an error: "ACIS READ FILE SURFACE DATA ERROR".

Are you able to read that .sat file into any other program?

- Michael

I suspect this is Autodesk's way of preventing use of their free web based apps for commercial work.

Apparently its not just SAT, that is "broken".
