Hi,
I just upgraded from V2 to V3. I have both V2 and V3 license keys. Now I need to know where I can download v3. Any one knows?
Thanks,
Gaston

Hi Gaston, when you purchased the upgrade and got your license key, there should be download links right there in the e-mail below the license key.

Did that not happen with the e-mail you received?

But I also have a page set up here: http://moi3d.com/reinstall.htm - you can put in your v3 license key there to get a download of the v3 software.

Thanks, - Michael

Like a kid with a new toy, I was a little too impatient. I have received the email with the download link two minutes after I posted my question.
Sorry.
Thanks Michael.
Gaston

I hope this does not make me sound like a cheapskate but I only use moi for a hobby and until last month have not uses it for about 5 years. I missed V2 completely and cant really justify paying £200 for V3. Is there anyway that I can buy V2 at a discount? Its not been shipped free with a magazine or anything?

I don't believe but...
As a hobbyst you can use the alternate free infinite version 3 without save!
http://moi3d.com/download.htm

And with this script you can save your "calculated image" (so no lines aliasingned) at any size following your Memory graphic card!
By Michael Gibson
script: /* Save screen on the ClipBoard*/ var prev_background = moi.view.viewportBackgroundColor; moi.view.viewportBackgroundColor = 0x000000; moi.view.lineWidth = 4; moi.grid.display = false; moi.grid.showXYAxes = false; moi.ui.getActiveViewport().renderToClipboard( 2560, 2560 ); moi.view.lineWidth = 1; moi.grid.display = true; moi.grid.showXYAxes = true; moi.view.viewportBackgroundColor = prev_background;

You can change any parameters!
Past this clipboard on your favorite 2D prog!

It's yet not so bad! ;)

PS I don't know if the PDF export works in this special version?
Tell me when you had try it!:)

Do you mean you own v1 already? If so you can purchase the discounted upgrade version of v3 for $100 USD, it's the second link on the purchase page here: http://moi3d.com/purchase.htm

That upgrade version will actually work if you have any previous version, including just v1 and if you skipped v2. There may be a couple of places that say "require v2 license", but a v1 license will also work as well, there just isn't enough room in some places on order forms to put in a long explanation like that.

Sorry no, there hasn't been any free version like that.

the “no save” alternate trial version does not allow saving to any types of file formats including PDF format.

Hi Michael
I didn't buy it on the day as I said but a few days later. What a wonderful modeling program you have made. The facility to shade objects is great and its so easy to make just about anything in minutes. Thanks for making the best software I have ever bought!
Many thanks
Keith
