I've got a new web page set up with an overview of what's new in v3 here:
http://moi3d.com/3.0/whatsnew.htm

I'll be updating the main page soon...

this is fantastic. Now for those of us who recently just upgraded from V1 to V3 do you have a similar page to this that outlines the features added in V2 and V2.5? It would be nice to know what to look for in those updates as well since they will be there in V3 too I presume.

thank you and can't wait to play more with V3
Rod

Hi Rod, the closest thing I have for the v1 to v2 new features summary is this forum post here:
http://moi3d.com/forum/index.php?webtag=MOI&msg=3573.1

The full list of v1 to v2 changes would be in the v2 beta release notes, those are collected here:
http://kyticka.webzdarma.cz/3d/moi/doc/V2releasenotes.html

Version 2.5 was an early spin-off of the first v3 beta to make the Mac version.

V3 released, that's great news! Just bought the upgrade.

A little side note: I only discovered today that the V3 final had already been released. I'd suggest to inform every MoI owner of the new version by email. Might result in more upgrading users, as probably not every MoI user is an active forum visitor. I'm an active forum visitor, and even I had missed the official V3 release news until today. I guess the news drowned in the many forum topics.

Thanks,

Metin

Well Darn.

I don't begrudge Michael the worth of the effort he's put in over time on this software, but I was sort of hoping that there would be some break on the price for those who purchased V2 (in general rather than just recently). Sadly, as this is more of a "nice to have" tool in my box of tricks and mostly used for those features already existing in V2, I can't justify full price for it again.

Thanks again for the terrific program, and if at some future date you decide to throw a bone to your existing users, I'll be happy to upgrade to the newer version.

Hi Greg

I am pretty sure that you may be mistaken.
Upgrade for those of us regulay users, who purchased MoI 2, non-recently, is only $100.00.

- Brian

(This is not a statement of pricing policy, just my understanding.)

But there is! :)

Like the others mention above, just go to the purchase page and the second link on that page is to a discounted upgrade version that is available to people who already own previous versions:

Hi Anis,

> What about upgrade price for V1 owner?

Same price as for v2 owners - the same upgrade version can be used to upgrade from v1 to v3 even if you have skipped v2.

There may be a few labels that you will see that says something like "requires v2 license", or "enter your v2 license key" but a v1 license will also work as well. There was just not enough space in a few small label areas to put in a lot of text.

Thanks everyone.

When I went to purchase I must have chosen the upgrade page (though I don't recall now) and was asked for my reg number and then told I wasn't not eligible. Didn't see the alternate purchase page.

Will purchase and feel sheepish right away!
