Hi Randy, that type of mesh structure is usually used by FEA (Finite Element Analysis) type software that does things like analysis of the structural strength of parts. That's focused on somewhat different metrics than how MoI's mesher works.

Often times those kinds of structural analysis programs are rather specialized and expensive, but there are some free ones too.

And you also might check out some mesh processing type software such as TopMod which may be able to reconstruct an existing mesh to be more similar to what you want.
