Hello, Im new to this forum and I want to know if is possible to take the 2D drawings from 3D models. I need to send to clients some pdf with drawings and dimensions of actual 3D models but seems that in Moi is not a such option. Thank you.

Hi zohozer, 2D drawing generation to PDF files is a new feature in MoI v3 which is almost finished up. If you have MoI v2 you can access the v3 beta version here: http://moi3d.com/beta.htm

In MoI v3 just do a "Save As" to PDF format and it will generate a 2D drawing like the ones shown in Pilou's link above.

This does not yet include annotations like dimensions though, you would need to add those in a 2D illustration program.

There is also a similar 2D drawing generation for going to DXF format which will work for exporting to a 2D CAD program for adding dimensions and annotations inside there. There are several free 2D CAD programs such as DraftSight which can work well for marking up the drawing.
