Hi Forum. I want to determine if the Fujitsu Q584 Windows 8.1 tablet with Intel Atom Z3770 processor has the performance needed for comfortably using MoI. Towards that end is there a place where I can download relatively complex models ( 3dm ? ) so that I can test the tablet ?

You could also just use simple objects and array.

Make a line and array 50, then array that 50, then array that 50. Pretty quick to have 125,000 curves which is pretty heavy.

Same thing with a simple sphere.

Hi Sven, also if you're going to be working with heavy models it's a good idea to adjust some display settings in MoI.

Go to Options > View > Meshing parameters and change the "Mesh angle" setting to a rougher angle like 25 or 30 degrees instead of the default 10 degrees, and uncheck "Add details to inflections".

That will make for a slightly rougher looking shaded display but it will also considerably reduce the density of the display mesh and will help make complex models perform better.
