[SOLVED]

Hi guys

I hope my question will be clear, what I want to do is duplicate the red line around the two paths. Now I use the green path to duplicate with the curve duplicate tool. But I want the red line to be evenly spaced between the blue and green path. Is this possible?

I first put a point in the 3 O'clock position of the circle and ellipse and then used the Array curve tool to duplicate them around each shape, one at a time. That made it easy to snap a line between each pair of points.

You can also Sweep the first line around both paths using them as rails - then use Isocurves to also create the repeated lines.

You can also arrange more complex patterns by using Flow along the Sweep result.

Thanks both for the suggestions but it's not exactly what I need. It's a litte difficult to explain 'cause English isn't my native language and I used a bad example I guess :). But here a new one. It's possible I have to deal with those shapes. So I those lines to be evenly distribute between the paths. So there's no overlapping and an even spacing. In the first one I used the outside path as 'rail' in the second one the 'inside'.

Does LineWeb do what you want?

- Brian

I think LineWeb script will work, but the start points may need to be aligned opposite each other, and possibly a Flip done.

Hi, Wim3065.

It looks like you can use Mike's or my method depending on which is most convenient for you - glad you're sorted either way.
