Moment of Inspiration Javascript Documentation

From this site (http://kyticka.webzdarma.cz/3d/moi/), there is a topic about "Scripting projects by David C. Morrill".
Up to now, that website is gone.

Is there anybody that -as a personal project- maintain a repository of that "vanished" site?

Any idea or data will be welcome to the comunity.

Thanks in advance,

Hi kant, I think Dave Morrill's site got hijacked by malware quite some time ago. I do not myself have any backup of it, but you can also find a listing of what properties are available to scripts in the moi.idl file here: http://moi3d.com/wiki/Scripting

I have some saved information.

The documentation is pretty good, but could use examples.
Used in conjunction with study of existing scripts is helpful.
Newer commands are not included.

Unzip the files. Double click index.htm. Select "Allow Blocked Content."
Click on the Circled Question Mark. Read Instructions, scroll down.
Selecting "eyeball" icon sometimes gives a little more information.

If there is some copyright problem, this zip can go away.

Does anyone know what would be a good website mirroring tool?
Or the "best" one?
(For windows 7, currently using Internet Explorer 11)

Thank you,
- Brian

Edit: Currently trying out winHTTrack.

Copying the MoI API documentation to your Windows 10 computer.
(Original Author of the API: David C. Morrill)

1. Create a folder on computer, say MoI_API.

2. Create subfolder /images.

3. From MoI Homepage/Resources, go to Max Smirnov's site and click on API.

4. Right click and Ctrl+S (Save as), and save the "Moment of inspiration Javascript Documentation.html" file to the above folder.

5. Type Ctrl+U (View page source) and save "moi.css" and "jquery-1.3.2.min.js" and "moi.js", by right clicking on each and selecting "Save link as", and saving each to the above folder.

6. Click on images/help.png, and save the ? png file to /images.

7. Repeat for images/eye.png.

To view the API documentation from your computer, go to the new _API folder, and either double click on the "Moment of Inspiration Javascript Documentation.html file,
or else right click on the *.html file and "Open with" your selected web browser.

If I use Edge browser, the type font is normal size.
If I use Google Chrome browser, (With hi-def monitor), the font is small, with much more information on the screen.

(I've been wondering how to do this easy task since 2014.)

Hi Brian,

re:

If you want to adjust this you should be able to use Ctrl+Mouse wheel spin in a browser to shrink or expand the page size.

Also Ctrl + , Ctrl - should do it and Ctrl 0 should reset to default size.

Thank you! Excuse the ignorant question, but is this like a more detailed list of commands compared to the original manual? I am trying to figure out if it's mostly a tool for developers or just a better indexed list similar to the MoI manual.

Hi nameless, it's a reference tool for developers who want to write scripts. It's not like a more detailed list of the regular MoI commands, it's for someone who wants to automate some process that the regular MoI commands don't do.

Hi Michael, Ahh, I see! Thank you for clarifying! :) I can exit the room now and leave the table to the scripting people! Excuse the interruption.
