Hi Supagoat, it sounds like you've got it all figured out now, but yes by default when you add an image it's a "linked" image and that means that if you move the file to another system you'd also need to move the image as well. MoI will look for images in the same folder as where the 3DM file is, so you don't necessarily have to put it in the exact same path you had it on the other system, it's enough to just put it alongside the 3DM file.

But if you go to the Properties for a background image if you then enable embedding of it, that will then carry the entire image data directly inside the 3DM file so when you do that you don't have to move any separate files.
