Hi, I was wondering if there's an option for Extend that uses apparent intersections. I would like, in a parallel view, to be possible to extend a line to another line even if they are on different planes. Is that possible?

Why not use the Helper Lines ?

But a little image or a little 3dm file will avoid some misunderstanding of what is wished!

Line #1 on z=0, line #2 on z=1. Extending line #1 to line #2, keeping both lines on the same z.
:) hope I was more clear.

Please post image! I have an headache to imagine all possibilities! :)

You want extend a line on its direction so you obtain again a line, or you want obtain a surface?

This situation. I would like to know if it's possible to use Extend even if the lines are not complanar.

If I understand your question right, you can use: Mutual Extend Mode
.

Hi max,

> This situation. I would like to know if it's possible to use Extend even if the lines are not complanar.

For that particular situation you show there, you can use Trim which does have an option for "Project intersections" which will do that job.

Extend does not currently have an option for doing apparent intersections, it would make sense for it to have it as well though, I'll take a look at adding it.
